This week was a long one. Thesis class? yeah, I survived that this week. I even felt pretty dang good about it. My class about identity, place and non-place? yeah, survived that too. But tears in the studio on the second week of school? yeah, I did a little of that yesterday. The tears weren’t my best moment, but overall you know, not a bad week. I’m working on trying not to be so hard on myself, and I am also trying to focus on a new cutie bunnies in a bucket collective goal, which is to try to make decisions that won’t adversely harm our mental health. We’re going to make a poster or something, print that stuff and distribute our new daily, weekly, and lifetime goal. Don’t make decisions that are going to mess your mental health, my friends.
I’m working on a poster for a lecture coming up at CCA with Kristee Rosendahl. I have it kinda mostly finished, except for all the tweaks and twists that are going to take some time. Today I have my second letterpress class in Oakland, which I’ve been waiting all week for. I am ready to make a(nother) mess and make some things. Happy weekend friendlies!
