Although we are quite sad to see Mark and Joe leave San Francisco, the thrill and satisfaction of manipulating their emotions and planning an elaborate surprise party has helped us (me) immensely. We scammed them with the help of many friends, and gave them the surprise of the year with a little gathering last night at our house. Lots of strings were pulled, both literally and figuratively to bring this party together.
Lots of holiday snacks were shared, bottles of bubbly were popped, and I hope we left everyone with a slight hang over today. We will miss these boys too much for words. Thank goodness we met so many of M&J’s friends, who will surely help to fill the void that these two leave.
I hate to see them go too!! :’(
