Woah. After 13 workshops, 300+ people and 72 hours of events… I came down with a delightful upper respiratory infection and mild ear infection. 6 days of rest later, I’m back, mostly. This week I’m catching up on client work, taking down the installations at StoreFrontLab, and trying to get all my energy back… as well as trying to process the sincere outpouring of help, generosity and genuine exchange coming out of this amazing weekend. I think it is going to take me some time to figure out where to put all this information that I have learned in the month leading up to this big event, and how to move on to the next phase.
The last 6 days have mostly been filled with cats, soup, tea, tissues, jammies and a whole lot of rest, and I think the next week is going to be full of movement and processing as I wrap up the final pieces of Skill Exchange, and start to connect with all of the new people who have reached out through Skill Exchange with interest in collaborations, events, work and sharing ideas. This week I’ll be sharing the final wrap up posts from the weekend, plus towards the end of the week I hope to put together a few coherent words about the project as a whole.
