I thought I’d pop in to share just a few more photos from the Skill Exchange launch party at StoreFrontLab. I’m slowly recovering from a mean cold, which has meant a lot of couch time, and a lot of cat time.
We had skill demonstrations from Donna Suh of Pot + Pantry, (champagne-sabering) and Jenny Rinzler of This Humble Abode (bow tie tying). Cheese and salumi was provided by Salumeria SF, INNA Jam donated jalapeño jam, and the amazing Intern provided the party playlist. We had Campari and gin cocktails with elderflower rosemary soda, and Almanac Beer, donated by the Almanac Beer makers, Jesse and Damian. Oh, and our bartenders? Just the amazing Alisha Ardiana, Laura Miller of Sidesaddle Kitchen and Iso Rabins of Forage SF, no big deal guys, just a couple of pals lending a hand.

Big hugs to everyone who handled tickets, door management, drinks, snacks, the market table and other tasks big and small, so I could shake hands, meet new faces, and generally enjoy the party that took so many weeks of planning to put together. The biggest thanks must go to Laura Muhlhammer of RedBarn PR. She put out every fire, solved problems before they ever appeared, hit the streets with posters and fliers, and made sure to grease every wheel and send every email along the way to help make this the biggest, and most organized event I have ever put together.
