On Wednesday workshop tickets will be available for purchase at 10AM. All tickets are between $5-12 per workshop. All workshops are generously sponsored in part by Hello! Lucky and Ritual Coffee Roasters.

Saturday is our first full day of back-to-back-to-back workshops at StoreFrontLab. With coffee provided by Ritual, we’ll start the morning at 10AM with a workshop lead by Thomas Kriese, founder of the Urban Chickens Network.  This workshop is for any city-dweller who has ever been curious about raising chickens of their own in an urban environment. Thomas will provide practical and important information to help get you started  with your own chickens in the city. Tickets available here.

From 12:30-1:30 join Designer David Hard for a lesson in DIY lamp wiring. David will show you how to wire a simple pendant lamp, as well as walk you through the basics of wiring and electrical work. Tickets available here.

Join Skill Exchange Veteran, Jonathan Lewis of Pastoral Plate from 2:00-3:30PM as Jonathan teaches you how to properly break down a chicken, carve a roast chicken, and make chicken stock.  For a sneak peek and just a few of the tips Jonathan will be sharing, check out this video. This class is essential for anyone who wants to learn how to make the most meals out of a single whole chicken.Tickets available here.

At 4:00, join Chef Sharon Ardiana of Ragazza and Gialina fame as she leads her second Skill Exchange workshop– this time on how to make hand-pulled mozzarella. Sharon’s first workshop with Skill Exchange was a lesson in cavatelli making. This workshop will include some tasting, and some take home mozzarella as well. Tickets available here.

Rounding out our Saturday lineup is Spice Hound at 6:30-7:45PM. Tammy Tan will lead this artisan salt workshop on the differences between salt varieties, and the history and value of salt. Tickets available here.
