Next Wednesday, workshop tickets will be available for purchase at 10AM. All tickets are between $5-12 per workshop.
After the launch party on Thursday evening, Skill Exchange kicks off with three workshops on Friday afternoon. The first workshop with 31 RAX from 3:00-4:30PM will focus on how to style, shop for, and care for vintage clothing. 31 RAX is a vintage clothing boutique in my neighborhood, at 3309 Mission Street, owned and operated by Stephanie Madrinan. Stephanie will teach you how to find quality garments, what details to look for, and how care for, and reconstruct clothing to fit your body and style. 31 RAX will be sharing lots of styling secrets as well, with a selection of items hand-picked from her store. Tickets available here.
At 5:00PM, Galen Garretson of Town Cutler will be sharing safety tips and techniques for chopping, dicing, and slicing in the kitchen, as well as a brief demo on how to sharpen kitchen knives at home. Tickets available here.
From 6:00-8:00PM, join Jesse Friedman and Damian Fagan of Almanac Beer for a conversation and tasting. Almanac Beer works with local farms to produce seasonal beers. Our first workshop with Almanac Beer at Pot + Pantry back in April sold out veeeerry quickly, so I recommend marking your calendar for this one. Tickets available here. Sorry kiddos, this workshop is for 21 and over only.
