Cold brew and a few updates

I’m about 15ish hours into our first batch of cold brew coffee. I made it yesterday,  but just poured it through the second straining process. I have visions of iced coffee in the backyard when our houseguests arrive early next week. I haven’t seen my friend Michelle in almost three years (!!!) and could not be more excited that she was able to squeeze in a trip to SF while home in Seattle. Keeping in touch is a little more challenging in different time zones and countries, but fortunately Skype is there to help us out with my morning-her evening chats mid-week. We’re hoping to sneak away to Muir Woods next week, although I still have work to do while our visitors go explore some tourist-y things in town. Between meetings, cocktails, tacos and general catching up, we’ve got a lot of ground to cover.

Over the next few days I’ll be sharing details about each day of workshops lined up for the September pop-up. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday at 10AM, unless you happen to be a Skill Exchange newsletter subscriber (those guys get early tickets). On Monday, I’ll be sharing a post about a recently completed design project launching next week.
