Over the weekend we stopped by StoreFrontLab to check out Deep Craft’s public opening. Deep Craft is doing a 3-week residency at StoreFrontLab, creating goods on site, and offering them to the public in a pop-up shop on the weekends. All of the products were beautiful, and many very playful. I love Deep Craft’s manifesto, and am looking forward to seeing the evolution of this project. Deep Craft will be open again this Saturday from 10AM-4PM at 337 Shotwell Street, and again on August 11th.
But can we talk about StoreFrontLab? The space is beautiful! Seeing the front space as well as the beautiful back courtyard area certainly got my brain ticking, thinking about different ways to use and decorate the space in September. The front sidewalk area is landscaped and green, and the space itself is well lit and very open. Intern and I have a few new ideas, and I am eager to figure out how to make these ideas happen!
