Although I haven’t had a chance to mention it here on the internet, I’ve teamed up with the newly formed Makeshift Society for a fun, and very collaborative project in mid-August. We’ll be sharing the details early next week, but for now if you want to learn more you should check out their newly launched website, and pick up a copy of San Francisco Magazine to see my face, along with 9 other Makeshift members. Thinking about the photo shoot caused some sweaty-nerves for me, but it was all for nothing, as most of my worrying generally is. The photographer Margo Moritz was wonderful, and the whole feature looks great. Lots of exciting projects to come!
Last night I met up with James Tucker of The Aesthetic Union over at Hello! Lucky to watch him print the poster for my September pop-up at StoreFrontLab. LETTERPRESS!! I think I probably said “I’m so excited!” about 100 times last night, but I really meant it, every single time. James is incredible, and if you have a letterpress void in your life (you do) he can fill it for you. On Monday, I’ll finally announce the full Skill Exchange lineup… but I have a long list of things to do before I can make the announcement, so I better get back to work.
