


The weekend: new book, new produce and a new cocktail.
The book: Very detailed and entertaining. Much better evening entertainment than a crappy Netflix Instant pick (although we’re slowly trudging through this, and one of us is quietly loving it). The produce: I can’t get enough tomatoes or peaches. The cocktail: 1 part gin, 2 parts lillet, cucumber, basil, orange bitters and ice. It feels like a martini, but tastes like a flowery summer drink.
