Update time! I’ve had some exciting meetings and phone conversations in the last few weeks with new collaborators, as well as reconnecting with a few favorites from the last Skill Exchange series. Scheduling, printing, rentals, decorations and all sorts of other decisions are coming together. The full schedule– 3 days of workshops (!!!) isn’t quite ready to share, but I can share a few other details about the Skill Exchange + StoreFrontLab pop-up in September.

Workshops:

Workshops topics include: beer brewing, knife sharpening, butchery, cheese-making, photography, urban farming, …AND MORE. I can’t give away all the secrets, but there will be lots of ways to learn, and many topics to choose from. Workshops will run for 3 days, Friday-Sunday, with a launch party on September 6th. More details about the launch party to follow!

Market:

During the pop-up we’ll also have a market table, selling locally made products, produced by Skill Exchange workshop teachers, as well as workshop sponsors. Products will range from paper goods, to honey, snacks, spices, and possibly even more. The market table will be cash only, and will run all 3 days of the pop-up, and also during the launch party.

Tickets:

I’ll be offering a limited number of full-day workshop passes, which will be released two days prior to the main ticket release. These passes will provide unlimited access to a full day’s worth of workshops, tastings and conversations. Skill Exchange Newsletter recipients will have first dibs on these full-day tickets, so be sure to sign up for the Skill Exchange Newsletter for your chance to buy tickets early.

All workshop tickets will be released on  August 8th at 10AM on our Skill Exchange ticket website. Every workshop, every ticket, all released in one day. Tickets range in price from $5-12.

Volunteer:

Want to see a few workshops in a row for free? I’m looking for a few volunteers to take tickets, manage the market table, hang posters, and assist with a few other simple, and possibly awesome tasks. If’d you like to volunteer at the pop-up, please email me, and I’ll add you to the schedule.
