Join Sophie Mosgrove, manager and resident cheesemonger, at the soon to open Salumeria, for an evening full of lactose! This workshop will start with a bit of history; covering the origins of what we lovingly know as cheese. From there Sophie will breakdown the basic differences between cheese types, from soft to hard, cow and beyond. And yes! There will be tasting involved. With the remaining time, as we nosh on some curds, Sophie will talk about how to create the perfect cheese plate, explaining how to pick sure-shot winners and the appropriate accoutrements.
