I love blood orange season. If you haven’t had one before, you really should. Sweeter than a regular orange… it is hard to describe- the flavor is more intense, somehow richer than a regular orange. And the color… We’ll be having a slice of blood orange with our Friday happy hour tonight!

I wish I could find more blood oranges in my local market, but they are few and far between. I would eat them every day if given the opportunity.
