A few little notes to wrap up the week:
I really, REALLY want (need) to make this Coconut Bread (Via Seven Spoons) this weekend. If I don’t make it, it will be very sad for me. I had a dream last night that I made muffins and cookies, but then was mad at myself for making more than we could possibly eat. I need this coconut bread.
TwoohFour is available for rent April 1st! Take a look, or take a tour here: twoohfour.blogspot.com
TwoohFour is our Seattle home, but since we’re here in San Francisco, it is available for rent.
After we upholstered this dining room chair, we had quite a bit of leftover wool. I made two wool slipcases for two little pillows, but I can’t seem to take a good photo of them. The stitching is straight, but my shaky photo-hands are not. After a little thinking and more leftover fabric (you can seriously do a lot with one yard!), I made this laptop sleeve in a couple minutes on my sewing machine. While it doesn’t provide much padding, it does protect the case from scratches, and it looks really cute.
I’m disappearing from the internet until Monday, but if you’re looking for something to read, try Meals Across America- I posted a recipe earlier in the week for warm butternut squash and arugula salad. This salad is one of my favorite winter weeknight meals.
